Compared to more advanced economies, the amount of IPOs in the country has been relatively proportional to its economy size.

Since the beginning of the year 2021, only 16 Companies have made its way to the stock market. There might not be as much IPOs this year compared to previous years.

Some has performed quite well with their share price (even-though there are some questions on how their share price rockets up). Yet for the others, their share price can dip faster than blink of an eye.

Consumer stocks appear to be performing quite well relative to other IPOs, with the exception of LUCY. Some figures appear to be disputable, yet it depicts how volatile the IPO market can be.

Possibly the next IPO will be the game-changer for the IHSG market, i.e. the much anticipated GoTo (Gojek Tokopedia).
